Electromobility Showcase

Berlin Mobil – European exchange of experiences
for trainers of car mechanics

Berlin Mobil adds to the electromobility showcase. New technologies in high voltage technology require new forms of training. European education experts can address this task together and learn from each other. Our project supports know-how transfer. 20 Berlin vocational training experts from the motor vehicle sector will participate in one-week workshops in Posnan and Vincenza. Together with European colleagues, they will discuss how existing curricula and educational opportunities can be adapted to the changed framework conditions.

The capital region Berlin-Brandenburg has been chosen as one of four showcases in Germany, with which visible sites will be funded for the trial and use of electromobility. In the collaborative project, “Vocational and Further Training in High-Voltage Technology”, the BGZ takes the lead in setting up an international network for professional qualification. The network is to function as a think-tank. Together with our European partners, new projects are to be developed and implemented.

Both partner countries were specifically selected. Italy has been promoting electromobility for years and there are now state regulations on the further development of electromobility. Poland is currently in the process of heavily increasing electromobility in public transport. The BGZ works particularly closely together with the neigbouring country: the large cooperation network will benefit the project.

The results of the workshops will be evaluated by the Guild of the Motor Vehicle Trade Berlin and the Chamber of Small Business and Skilled Crafts, and disseminated as good practice.
